Onderwijs overzicht researchmaster
Research Master Onderwijs
De invoering van de tweejarige onderzoeksmaster heeft ervoor gezorgd dat het promotietraject bij veel universiteiten korter is geworden. Samen worden deze opleidingen nu gezien als het voortraject naar een volwaardige baan als onderzoeker. Aan veel universiteiten zijn de researchmasters en de promovendi-opleidingen dan ook al samen gegaan in de zogenaamde graduate schools. Meegaand in deze ontwikkeling biedt de OSK sinds een aantal jaar ook onderwijs voor de researchmaster studenten. Zo zijn er de jaarlijkse Summer en Winter Schools die de studenten kunnen volgen ter aanvulling van het onderwijs aan de plaatselijke Graduate School. Elk ter waarde van 5 ECTS, met een roulatiecyclus van 2 jaar zodat ResMa studenten 4 verschillende cursussen t.w.v. 20 ECTS kunnen volgens bij de Onderzoekschool. De OSK biedt daarnaast ook incidentele workshops, masterclasses en tutorials waaraan de studenten kunnen deelnemen.

OSK Summer School: The museum and its collection: current challenges and dilemmas
This year’s OSK Summer School will be dedicated to some classical and current dilemmas in the museum world. Four topics have been selected, and all of them will be studied by discussing one specific case: the museum in search of a profile (branding); the problem of presenting the permanent collection as though it were an event; the desire to integrate relics of history and works of art in the presentation of the museum’s collection; and the experience of the museum’s history as a blessing or a burden.
